This is a decent place to stay in the area if all you need is a room. Nothing fancy and the location behind the mall has a bit of a suburban decay vibe, but it is quite accessible and overall it was fine.
Pros: The room I had seemed like it had been mostly renovated fairly recently. The bed was firm but not hard, and I really appreciated the firm pillows. The sheets and towels all seemed clean and there was plenty of hot water in the shower (and it drained properly!). Furnishings were spare but fairly new, and rather than an ancient and disgusting carpet on the floor it was newish vinyl flooring.
Cons: The sound-proofing wasn't great, like every other Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. I could easily hear what was going on outside, as well as footsteps and moving furniture above me. That said, even though the motel seemed pretty fully booked there wasn't enough noise to keep me awake. The other issue was the partial nature of the renovation. The tub was pretty beat up, and there was apparent water damage on the bottom of the bathroom door.
