Did not get room I paid for upon checking in. They offer us feee breakfast for one day instead which was disappointing. Customer service was lacking as well. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

We landed on this property due to unforeseen circumstances. Although the main lobby was stunning, the room and property were average at best. Our in room AC was not adequate. Never completely cooled the space, making it an uncomfortable sleep. The beds sucks, pillows are meh. Resort dining was a tiki bar where they don’t serve you. lame. Do it better. Overall, way over priced and will NOT recommend to anyone, ever.

The location is beautiful and perfect for exploring the entire island within easy driving distance. The bay and the beach are lovely. The open air desk and restaurant are great. The hotel is pretty run down. Our room had the promised ocean view but no outdoor access as pictured and the window only opened a couple of inches. The staff was friendly but not helpful. Housekeeping skipped our room entirely several days. When we reported it the front desk said that they were understaffed. So we were left with no towels, full wastebaskets and unmade beds. The guest washer stopped working with my laundry on the wash cycle. The staff offered no help except a maintenance man who pronounced it broken. I had to carry a bag of dripping laundry to a laundromat in the next town instead of going to dinner. There was a power outage and we lost phones, WiFi and cable. The cable and WiFi were restored late the next day but our phone never was fixed. We don’t expect luxury at moderately priced hotels, but the Hilton Garden Inn failed to deliver the basics.

We reported several times a noisy toilet making sounds all night and it was never fixed. There was a power outage which once back on disconnected the TV and staff couldn’t fix it. A grille for the AC unit was missing which invited birds to roost there and make early morning noise. We would not stay there again.

The staff was friendly, our room was nice but there a was a sewage smell across the whole property. It is located close to a treatment plant. We sat at the main restaurant and they could not fix a blended drink as they had no blender. The whole property lost power and we did not have internet or tv for our stay.

Let me start off with the staff was great. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long hike. The beach had a break wall which made swimming very enjoyable. The room was very musty and dingy. I figured it was because we were in a tropical place, but after visiting other islands, no hotel should smell like that. The bed was also very uncomfortable. Would I stay here again? Maybe. It was more affordable than some other resorts.
