I arrived late and when I entered my room, it was hot and humid and the first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled like mildew. I turned the A/C on and even that didn’t help an air out the stench. The smell was on the bed, in the shower and in the air.. it gave me a HUGE headache. The only comfort I received was given a refund back and leaving. I will never stay in a Beat Western in this location EVER again.

Better than expected

Room was clean, no signs of any kind of pests. AC worked well. Shower head had leak issues but worked ok enough for us. Bed comfort was ech but everyone has issues with beds that aren't what they are used too. We ended up buying a blanket at a store for the second night since the bed one was too thin. Overall good stay and would stay again, road construction made navigating difficult but that isnt the hotels fault. Just keep in mind that there is a TON of detours and road work.

The staff was nice and friendly. The room was average and the door needed a repair which was photographed upon entry. The staff was accommodating due to a booking error. With some minor updates this could be a really nice place. Overall it's okay place to spend the night.

Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs This place is NOT a hotel — it's a run-down motel, and calling it anything else is false advertising. The pictures online must be from decades ago or a completely different property, because what you actually get is dirty, dated, and just plain gross. Anyone giving this place 8/10 must be on something — seriously. The room reeked of mildew and despair, and I’m genuinely worried I’ll wake up with bed bugs. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the early 2000s, and every surface felt sticky. I didn’t dare touch anything without wiping it down first. To make things worse, the place didn’t feel safe. People were loitering and wandering around the property well past midnight. I didn’t sleep a wink. On top of that, there’s been roadwork for what locals say has been two years, making the property nearly impossible to access without feeling like you're navigating a construction zone. I don’t leave many reviews, but this place was such a nightmare I had to warn others. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Run — don’t walk — away from this dump.

Bates Motel aka Best Western

There were multiple types of bugs in the room. I purchased bug spray & sprayed the room, but they were still creeping around! I told the front desk, and they said l must have been bringing them in when l walked outdoors. The pool was filthy, no way you could swim in it. The room was furnished nicely & the jetted tub worked well, which is why l gave the place an "okay" rating. Also, the breakfast was good as well.
