Place was fine. Was near pool. Staff did not close pool at 10:30 pm as the rules stated. Young kid was screaming till after midnight while parents drank in pool area. Talk to night manager about situation and night management told me I should have told them to be quiet as he was busy. No accountability, blamed me for his inaction. Not a fan. The next night they all left at 10:30 pm not sure if someone talked to them or not. Would stay again just bring ear plugs. Breakfast was minimal. Otherwise good experience other than night manager.

Disappointed with this stay. We've been here several times without any issues but this time was different. The room was clean but: - the tv didn't work - the heat/AC unit on the wall wouldn't turn off - the bathroom sink was slow to drain - the coat rack hanging on the wall was in the most inconvenient spot. It was hard to get to one side of the bed without running into it. - the quality/options of the breakfast has declined. I don’t know if this is just a one time occurrence or the new normal. For the money it's still an OK place but if this is what it looks like going forward it's no longer a good value. If we had paid more it would be 1 or 2 stars at most.

Older motor Inn. I liked how they have enclosed the walkway to the rooms. Kind of a retro feel, yet clean and everything worked.

Price was very affordable. Clean room with everything we needed to be comfortable. My only issues were that the bed was too high for me to get into easily. Breakfast bar one morning was totally depleted about 45 minutes after it started and it took at least 20-25 minutes for it to be replenished. I would stay here again.

Parking in breakfast was okay. The two rooms that I was in on separate reservations could use more lighting. There's no lamp or lighting over the desk area. That to me was a major disappointment. And the other thought that I had when I stayed in the double queen beds and if there had been four people in that room but only one chair. I thought that was kind of weird. There is a lot of space for at least two chairs.

Breakfast was Good and Tasty! Staff members were very nice and very friendly!! Our DISAPPOINTMENT... My parents and my wife's parents had stayed at the Cedar Motor Lodge numerous times in the past... years ago. We liked the rooms that our parents had stayed in and were disappointed that "the Lodge" had "acquired" a neighboring junky motel and that we were unexpectedly put into one of the "other" motel's rooms! We hadn't been to Marquette in a number of years, and this experience wasn't what we were expecting!
