I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last three months while traveling to Miami for business, but the quality is declining rapidly. One of the main reasons I chose this property was the convenience of breakfast on site. Unfortunately, it’s almost the same selection every day. Acceptable for one or two nights, but after three or more nights, it becomes repetitive and unappealing.
During my first stay, the sink counter was literally falling apart, and I had to be careful not to lean on it. More concerning are the recurring issues that extend beyond just my room: shower gel is not refilled, sinks are often clogged, and guests consistently complain about the same problems at the front desk.
Worse, I found roaches inside the ice machine on the 5th floor. The air conditioning does not cool the suite evenly—the bedroom is tolerable, but the sitting area feels like a sauna. When I called reception about the missing shower gel, I was told to come downstairs and get it myself. That kind of service is unacceptable.
This hotel is going downhill fast. Instead of addressing serious problems—lack of breakfast variety, poor maintenance, pests, broken AC, and dismissive service—management seems content with offering the same canned apology about “not meeting expectations.” Unless real action is taken, this property will continue to disappoint and lose the loyalty of frequent business travelers like me.
