The lobby is welcoming, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant also offers plenty of great food and drink options. Unfortunately, once you head upstairs, the experience changes. The rooms feel outdated, with a noticeable mildew smell and cleanliness concerns. The phones didn’t work, the WiFi was unreliable, and the bathrooms are very small—more like what you’d expect in a roadside motel. The hallway carpet was also in poor condition. We’ve stayed here for years before cruises and haven’t noticed a single upgrade in that time, which is disappointing given the price point. For what we paid, we expected a more comfortable, well-maintained stay.

Cruise time!

Stayed here before. No issues. Could use some updating, but for the price, all is good. Cruise port shuttle was private and cost more than quoted. Hallways smelled of mildew, but I assume that’s part of being so close to the ocean and amount of humidity in the air.

If there was a zero option I would give it zero.

The hotel was a disaster. It took me several tries just to get my room key to work . Once in the room me and my guest didn’t have enough towels and face cloths. Went to use the vending machine and it was not working. I asked for a non-smoking room and was given a room that smelled like smoke and the room wasn’t very clean.

Once you walk in it smells like mold. Room was very hot. They charge $45 a day to park in their parking lot. We parked in a parking garage that was 4 blocks away for $15 a day. No microcars or mini fridge. Only good thing was that Bayside was literally across the street.

Across the street from Bayside Marketplace. Several good restaurants in that area. Walgreens and several other stores within 2 blocks of hotel. Hotel does not have a shuttle service but concierge arranged driver for us and very reasonable. They also stored our luggage for us aa we got there very early for checkin. We would definitely stay again! Also, there was a restaurant in the hotel for breakfast.

Bad experience with cleaning and parking

They didn't offer valet parking, although they claimed they were full. I asked them what they recommended for parking our vehicle, but I wasn't sure about the information they gave us. Regarding cleaning, the bathtub had long, red hairs and the bed was stained with blood. The caunter guys were super nice. The hotel isn't in great condition, but the price is reasonable, but the cleanliness is unjustifiable.

Stayed here before a cruise due to proximity to the port. The hotel card machine was broken the first night, so a maintenance man had to escort you to your room and unlock with a master key everytime you wanted back in your room. On top of that, our first room had bed bugs. We had tons of people, so it was too late to move hotels, but they moved us to another room. I would rather stay an hour away and pay double than stay here again.

Its a little dated but its in a perfect place to stay before the cruise. The staff are outstanding with excellent customer. Especially Mr leo and another young lady i forgot her name. She was from Germany 🇩🇪.
