Second stay at this property, but this time was in a room over the restaurant/bar. Extremely loud which wasn’t as much as issue on a weekday but on Friday night the noise until 2am prevented a decent night’s sleep. I texted and emailed the manager after getting contact information from the front desk, but never received a reply. Disappointed in the hotels management. Won’t stay at this property again.

Old brewery

It was a very cool place to stay. The old brewery equipment is everywhere, making the experience quite unique. The staff was super friendly and very responsive.

Outstanding visit.

Passing through Milwaukee on our summer trip to the U.P. The Brewhouse is a treasure! Great utilization of a historic brewery and grounds. From Harold the Valet to our Gentleman who checked us in, the staff were impeccable. The room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. Walking distance to many breweries and restaurants. Harold the Valet assisted us with parking our vehicle. He was friendly, kind and informative. Harold is a great first face of the Brewhouse, a true asset. We will definitely be returning.

The toilet was backed up with someone else’s feces. I complained to the manager and they handed me a plunger. We had not gone to the bathroom, so it was not from us. Either someone came into our room or one of the other toilets from somewhere else backed up into our room. We are not comped in anyway for this disgusting event.

Guests are offered a draft PBR upon check in—my kind of hotel! The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering our questions about parking and Summerfest. This is a unique place and convenient place to stay. I do think the rooms could use some updating. Our room was quite dark and starting to show a bit of its age. Had a bit of a 90s feel to it. Overall, recommended. We would stay here again if the price is right.

Great history

The staff was absolutely wonderful and the entire facility was very clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. The building has great history which makes the stay “eventful”, but the decor is a bit confusing. The many, many pieces of strange un-matched furniture and randomly placed TV screens distract from the historic architecture. It seems maybe the money could have been spent on headboards that are not boards bolted to the wall and more comfortable mattresses.
