The best thing about this hotel is the food. The chef and wait staff are terrific. We wanted a hotel a little away from downtown Carmel and this hotel fits this requirement. We did not expect to want to have all our meals there. Check out the breakfasts. I have not had better!

Nice place but expensive and that's before the stacking of additional fees for Wi-Fi and pool access (even though when connecting you are told "complimentary Wi-Fi access". I guess I misunderstand the word "complimentary"...) $30 for outdoor self-parking is pretty ridiculous. This is not downtown LA. Glad I didn't have a dog, that's $100 extra even if you're staying just one night. $10.00 Daily Facilities Service Fee includes Wi-Fi, access to our heated swimming pool, hot tub and fitness room. This fee will be collected upon departure. Self-Parking is $30 per night plus applicable taxes.
