Room was clean an orderly upon arrival. We stayed two nights and had no maid service for the second night. Towels were not replaced bed was night made for the second night of our stay. That would be my only concern with this property i dont recall that being mentioned when i booked

Basic but pleasant room, plenty of space for my buddy and I. Nice shower. Portable AC unit was noisy but functional. Coffee machine was very old and basic but worked fine. Check in procedure was via text message, which as an overseas resident was a little annoying as it costs a fortune to send texts to foreign numbers, but it worked. Didn't see any of the staff during my 3 day stay, but I'm ok with that. WiFi was slow but did the job. Nice seating area outside in the garden. Busy neighbourhood, surrounded by other hotels and motels, walking distance to center of town, and a short stagger from the nearest bar.
The check in procedure. Took a minute to get the text reply, which was a code to a key box by our motel room door.

When we checked into our room, we were surprised to find that it lacked a cooktop or any facilities to prepare meals for our baby. This was especially disappointing because the suite’s photos clearly showed a cooktop, and the primary reason we chose and paid for a suite was the ability to cook. We raised this issue with the staff, pointing out the misleading listing and the inconvenience it caused. Unfortunately, they were neither responsive nor helpful. They did not acknowledge the discrepancy, take responsibility, or offer any resolution to improve our experience. If you value accurate listings, good customer service, and genuine hospitality, please avoid this place.

The room was listed as a queen suite with a pull out. The pull out wouldn’t even comfortably sleep a child. I am 5’2” and wouldn’t fit on this “bed”. We needed two beds so I went to the office and they couldn’t speak English. They called someone and the person on the phone told me they would cancel our reservation so we could go somewhere else because they don’t have rooms that will accommodate 3 adults. They then still charged me for the room. So I ended up paying for a room we could not use. Don’t book this place if you need someone to speak English or if you need more than one bed. I should have know because when we were going to check in the guy leaving said to run. I booked the room on Expedia so I called them and they said they couldn’t cancel the room until the hotel gave them permission. Expedia emailed the hotel twice and the hotel didn’t respond back to tell them that they approved us cancelling the room, therefore I had to pay for a room we didn’t even use to the tune of $285. Do NOT book this room!!!

Not gonna lie, chose this place primarily as it was one of the cheapest in the area. Was only passing through and needed a bed for the night. Expedia came up trumps and I made the booking for 2 queen beds. Was really pleasantly surprised to discover that the room featured 2 separate sleeping areas, divided by an internal door. Meant my buddy was less affected by my snoring than usual! Lobby staff were friendly and efficient, and when we decided to extend our stay a further night, they were happy for us to remain in the same room, and even encouraged me to rebook online via a 3rd party to get the best price. Room had central air/heat, a microwave and refrigerator as well as coffee making facilities. Shower was basic but functional. The split level faucet switch had me scratching my head, but the guy in the lobby explained things without making me feel stupid. Property is conveniently located just off the highway and is walking distance to Del Monte beach, there are various shops and eateries also within easy walking distance.
