I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it was awful there were people using drugs in the parking lot there was a homeless guy sleeping in the stairwell the doors were not securely locked only the door to the motel room itself had a lock the other ones were wide open this was a dirty on staffed Motel there's no telephone in the rooms they complained when we had four guests on our reservation and we only had two towels and we asked for more it was awful

Very unsafe property. Down an unlit street, one lane wide. Very dark. Very dingy. Several disclaimers about lost or stolen property. People were standing in the parking lot watching every move we made. Felt unsafe from the start. Left immediately. I would like a refund. We didn’t even bother to check in

Check in process was easy, room looked clean when I went into it, had to deal with people yelling in the middle of the night and arguing and other rooms. Check out was easy, but the lady at the desk was a real jerk.

Not a family friends place

As soon as i walked in the lady working the front desk immediately started complaining that i was there to a woman sitting in the lobby with her children working with her. As soon as she was finished complaining about my presence, she got on the walkie figuring out which rooms were due for check out and room numbers owed amount leaving me to stand there for the next 5 minutes before she had even said hi to me. I immediately asked for my reservation to be canceled. It was dirty, uninviting, older men and women smoking everywhere and bugs crawling all over inside. This was not a place i felt safe having my family. It looked nothing like the photos and definitely not somewhere worth $100

One of the mornings we were there the local SWAT team came to apprehend criminals that were staying across the courtyard from our room. The list of deficiencies in terms of house keeping are to numerous to list. I'll never return.

The pictures were not of the motel. It was a disgusting room with a disgusting stain on the bed. We left right away and got a room at the comfort in. The place was a pile of garbage and used fake pictures

Disgusting – Cockroaches in the Bathroom and by th

I stayed at OYO Mona Lake Motel in Muskegon and had to leave shortly after checking in. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and crawling near the window. I even took a picture of one — that’s how bad it was. I know some people book budget places to save money — I get it, I was doing the same. But this one? Not worth it at all. It felt dirty, unsafe, and neglected. The front desk didn’t seem surprised when I complained, which tells me this isn’t a one-time issue. I ended up leaving and paying more just to feel clean and safe somewhere else. If you’re even considering staying here — DON’T. It’s not worth the stress, the bugs, or risking your health. You can do better.

Yikes!!! Cheap way out.

You’re definitely getting what you pay for. $103 a night, wrong room. Unexpected fee’s Dirty floors. Little to none soap, shampoo ect. Not cleaned properly, Bare minimum!! I’m glad it was only a quick night short stay. I won’t be back again.

Signs were posted saying they were not responsible if your car was stolen or broken into. The place was filthy, run down and old. Front desk could not get computer to work. We did NOT stay there! This place is misrepresented on your web site!
