Red Hickory -Hytti-Oma kylpyhuone

Nestled aivan keskellä noin 8 hehtaarin puuta, löydät Red Hickory. Viihtyisä 1008 neliön jalkamökki, jossa avoin olohuone, ruokasali-alue ja avoin parvi-alue. Mökissä on uusi parivuode, queen-size-vuode, jossa on taitettava futoni ja taitettava sohva nukkuaksesi pari tai pieni perhe mukavasti. Keittiö on täysin varustettu ruokia, ruokailuvälineitä ja kattiloita ja pannuja yöksi, jonka haluat kokata "kotona" ja käpertyä puulämmittimen edessä. Oletko grillissä ?? The cabin was lovely, but the deck/hot tub configuration has been changed since these photos were taken. The fire ring is also different and located on a gravel extension of the driveway. It was missing some of the niceties that we have come to expect from other cabins we have rented: robes, water bottles, snacks, and fire wood. Our biggest issue was that there was a power outage for most of our only full day there. We realize that this was out of the host's control, but when we alerted her to the situation, she did not offer any assistance. So we were stuck in a cold, dark cabin. We tried to use the wood burning stove, but there were no operating instructions, and the vents did not seem to be working, so the fire kept going out. If the power had not gone out, our experience would have been different, and we would have been mostly satisfied. Just don't expect any extras or assistance from the host while you are there.

We were very pleased with the property. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed, but nothing that affected the enjoy of our stay. The cabin was very clean and cutely decorated. Some of the wall decor were actually functional games. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub and grilled out (yes, in the winter). Our host placed Valentine surprises in different areas. We would definitely stay here again!

As someone who has stayed at many short term rentals all over the world, and many cabins in the Hocking area, the Red Hickory cabin stands out. Everthing you could ever need is provided. The little things like labels on lights, abundant blankets, and hooks everywhere are so appreciated as a guest. Add to this the perfectly cozy and well laid out cabin and you have a 10/10. As a bonus, wall decor that doubles as playable board games was so fun!

Great place, even better than the pictures. This place has the best kitchen I’ve ever had at a vacation rental. It is clean and well thought out. I was afraid the loft bedroom would be hit but it wasn’t at all. The driveway is steep but also kind of fun and exciting to get to the charming secluded cabin in the woods that is out of a story book. 30 minutes away from hocking hills state park.

Extremely Peaceful

An amazing secluded property. It was very hot when we stayed but the cabin was shaded by all the mature trees. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy nature. The cabin is beautiful and the owners thought of everything. The only issue we had was the internet kept rebooting one evening, but it wasn’t really a bother as we weren’t there for technology, it was more about being disconnected and relaxing. The owner is very responsive. Would highly recommend this to friends and family. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

The house was perfect! Great location, far enough but not too far. I love that it was tucked in the trees up a hill from the main road. We took our dog and 2 year old, so distance from traffic was ideal. I was worried about my son on the stairs, but found the owner had a baby gate in the storage room! I love they were prepared!The deck has been adjusted, it caught me off guard at first, but the huge flight of stairs was removed, it only has two steps with the hot tub right outside the door. I really liked that adjustment, again because we had our 2 years old who still hasn't mastered stairs. Ideally it's a couples cottage as listed, but we don't need much space, we liked the coziness for our little family. More than enough kitchen amenities, two types of grilling, large hot tub, towels and blankets were all provided. The sofa had a pull out sofa which was perfect for movie night in the living room. There's a trail behind the house, unfortunately we didn't get to venture out much due to the weather. Really loved this place, highly recommend!!! (Forgot to take more photos before we left) Other than the deck adjustment, exactly as photos show in listing!I had a few questions while there, and the owner was very quick to respond and very helpful!
