Room 216 should not be considered “deluxe” under any circumstances. Mattresses are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom too small. Seating area too small and only 1 chair. I have stayed in other rooms in the past in this same hotel several times with complete satisfaction. This stay was disappointing.

This is by far my favorite "home base" for visiting the Quarter - location is wonderful, ambience is incredible (better than many, many more pricey options) and the staff always welcoming. Patrice was absolutely fantastic, and the bellman who helped with our luggage was prompt and kind. Great visit, as usual - I'll keep booking you for every stay in NOLA!

We stayed at Place d’Armes on our drive back from a cruise and it was exactly what we wanted in the French Quarter: beautiful, historic, quiet, and perfectly located. The hotel is made up of multiple 18th-century townhouses arranged around peaceful courtyards, so you get the character of New Orleans without the Bourbon Street chaos. Even though you are literally steps from Jackson Square, it feels tucked away and calm once you walk through the gates. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the courtyard was a great place to unwind after a long day on the road. Staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was easy. One of the biggest bonuses was onsite parking, which is rare and extremely valuable in the Quarter. It made arriving and leaving stress-free. If you want to be right in the heart of New Orleans without the noise and hassle, Place d’Armes is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was great nothing to complain or point out. We stayed in windowless room and this is good room if you want to have good sleep til morning since you cant tell if it is morning or not but in other hand if you need some sun to your room or outside view you have other options.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. Patrice was so fun. The courtyards were peaceful and charming. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. An easy walk to everything. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lots of charm in this place! Our room had a constant hissing noise coming from the pipes. Not sure if this is all throughout the property or just in the section where our room was. Didn't notice it initially, but once we were trying to fall asleep. When I mentioned it to the staff they just laughed it off and said that is just the "ghosts". If you're a light sleeper maybe ask for a different room. Oh, and the parking is not free, $50/ day additional charge to your room. I think that might be standard for the French quarter area as parking is limited, but it caught me off guard. Overall I enjoyed the hotel.
