I want to give the place five stars because it was beautiful but also note a couple things. The property is gorgeous. They offered us champagne with us celebrating our honeymoon there. It never made it but nonetheless it was a gift, so we didn’t complain or ask for it (that would be rude). There was probably just a small miscommunication with staff. My only grievance is that I’m terrified of rats and saw one running in the courtyard on three different occasions. We were in the back building so we had to cross the courtyard to get to our room. The staff was very friendly every time we entered and exited the lobby. The place is definitely haunted. We heard footsteps above us multiple times but there was no floor above us, and the TV changed settings all night long. We just let the ghost watch what they wanted and they turned it down for us when it got really late. Super considerate.

We had such a good time there. The place is beautiful and we loved the courtyard! We originally picked it for the parking and are so glad we did. We didn't even need the car because of its convenient location. I will definitely be back. The staff are kind and so helpful. The rooms are beautiful and lets not forget the history of the place. If you are unaware, don't worry, a ghost tour will be along any moment now. LOL Enjoy!! We did!

Our room was clean. We booked the windowless one (keep cost down) and there is technically a window just at the bottom of the wall which was fine. It did face straight onto the Main Street so at night it could get loud as we were next to the lift which was also loud at times. During the stay our AC machine stopped working and Rody swooped our Roma straight away to a courtyard room at the back which was beautiful and less quiet. The last night a ghost tour did come in and during there talk they were very loud when we were trying to sleep for an early flight. The hotel its self was in a fantastic location in the French quarter and all the staff were so lovely especially Rody! Would defiantly book here again if visiting New Orleans

I believe this is more of expedias fault but I paid extra for our stay with a balcony and when we arrived we were placed in a room that was small with no balcony. What you pay is not what you get and I am very disappointed with Expedia as well

Hard to rate / great location, beautiful facility , lovely room but the thing was they don’t clean the rooms- when we specifically asked one of the maids said we only work until 3 and we are asked to do rooms for incoming guests first and then if there is time continuing stay guests-hmm maybe they need more maids? When it was cleaned(once) it wasn’t great .

Upon arriving Mark greeted us and checked us in with a smile. Andrew immediately took our bags and escorted us to our room while showing us all the amenities along the way. The entire staff was very pleasant and seemed proud and very happy to be working there. I highly recommend this hotel as it has a very historic feel, beautiful quiet courtyard, and excellent location in the French quarter.
