location was convenient, staff is courteous but this is absolutely a no frills room, not even bottle of water in room is offered for free and there was no housekeeping of the room the 3 days I was there. This may be more of an extended stay hotel but I was there for a brief meeting--folks on the extended stay side may have a different experience.

This is my "go-to" hotel when I come to New Orleans. It is 3 blocks from the Convention Center, and easy walking distance to the Quarter and the St. Charles streetcar. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. I always enjoy the hot breakfast. The courtyard has an outdoor pool and a fire pit. The staff is very friendly and always checking up on you. I can't think of a better time in the Big Easy.
