Great room/Poor Valet service

We rented a two bedroom apartment style room and breakfast was really good but waiting staff to help unload luggage / valet were lazy and unprofessional. The room was excellent and pretty clean so that made up for the valet.

Decent hotel, would stay again!

Overall a nice stay. The hotel is conveniently located. The staff working when we arrived were super friendly and nice, the morning staff were good too but they seemed a lot more overwhelmed which makes sense when they are dealing with more people. The rooms were clean, the AC was STRONG! I mean it felt like a fan blowing on you full blast! But it's really hot and humid so that is NOT a complaint. Definitely a plus unless you're sleeping in the living room area. The suite with the kitchenette was convenient. Breakfast was very mid and we only ate it once. They don't let you scoop your own eggs and the only meat offered were sausage patties, which again, they picked up for you. Everything else was self service though. There is a rather large deposit required which is less common these days, but they do tell you before you stay, so it wasn't a surprise, just a surprise that they don't just need a card on file, they actually charge you and refund you, but I got the refund 4 days after checkout so no complaints. Just a warning for those on a budget, we paid $250 deposit for 3 night stay, so be ready to pay that on arrival.

Rooms were clean and AC was strong enough to keep the suite at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was a good mix of foods. Only issues was bath tub didn’t drain fast enough and the shower head was too strong. Some traffic noise but overall area is quiet. Walking distance to convention center and WW2 museum.
