Room is big for NYC, but kind of dated. Lobby is exceptional and has live music. The staff was a mix of treatment, some were fine but more than one occasion they were unpleasant or unhappy to see you.

We had a wonderful stay at the Roxy Hotel. The room was cleaned everyday and we appreciated the kindness of the staff. The only thing I would note is the lighting inside the room, but that’s more of a personal preference. Overall, the experience was great and the location is amazing.

The staff at front desk and Derrick were very nice. So was Tedene. Other than that, the bell staff were not nice at all. My friend who was visiting me told me he felt he was racially profiled. Also, the room was not as clean as I had hoped. There were stains in the shower area and the wash basin.
