I visited the Belvedere twice a year for the last couple of years and had no issues, until my last visit there. I had reserved a standard king bed. When I arrived I was pleased by the crown molding and having a room on the 15th floor with a view. I saw a creepy crawler on the sink, but I looked passed it and closed the drain. upon going back to bathroom, I saw a bigger bug run up into the mirror frame. fast forward there were several more bugs that house keeping ended up killing that was in the crown molding. I took pictures! After the housekeeper saw all the bugs (he sprayed at least 5 out of the crown molding) and I called the front desk. I was moved to another room on the second floor (that room was fine). At checkout, I had asked for management to call me and never heard back. very disappointed by the lack of concern or follow up. House keeping and front desk were nice, but I will never return to Belvedere. The customer service was not there post-reservation. Feel like another number at this place.

Cockroach Hotel

It was absolutely disgusting. I paid almost $700 (plus a RESORT FEE? $44) for a room with dead cockroaches in plain view on the carpet and garbage under the bed. I will never go back to this hotel if it’s the last one on earty

Great location. Hells Kitchen feels like home. So many restaurants to choose from. Easy access to subway and bus stops. Room was smallish but clean. Comfortable beds. Nice staff. Daily maid service. Free coffee in the morning. I’d go back..

The room was nice, the staff was excellent and location was excellent. The room had a microwave and refrigerator, which is a big plus. Personally, the one thing that would prevent me from staying here when I return to New York City is there is no coffee maker in my room. I like my coffee first thing in the morning and no powdered creamer. Prefer good coffee and a frig in the room so I can purchase real milk. They do provide coffee service in lobby from 7am to 10 am, but it wasn’t very good. I went out and bought a coffee maker, but too difficult to travel with when other hotels have a coffee maker in the room. If you don’t need a coffee. Maker in your room, a great place to stay.

Our lamp & tv didn’t work. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. The pillows were awful & would have liked more than 2/bed. The linens were clean but not comfortable. The location to Times Square & broadway is great. Close enough to get places quickly but far enough to avoid the noise.

Food for thought

The room was overall clean and comfort however it was really outdated. The pictures didn’t match the actual room. I did like the fact the room had a microwave and fridge.
