They sent me to the back "5" to stay and it had not wifi in the room....so they wouldn't refund the first night....but did the 2nd night. I happened on a night when they had some kind of auto rally and it was SO LOUD and hectic.....and we're suppose to be in a quiet resort???? Hated it. The room was comfy.

Many maintenance issues

The lodge has a certain throwback charm but there are serious maintenance issues - peeling paint, pot-holed roads, overflowing trash cans (we saw vultures at the trash cans). Otherwise it’s a lovely spot with a walk around Lake Hessian highly recommended.

I was upgraded to the Top lodge on the very top, but when I go look out the window there is a huge tree obstructing my view. I literally couldn’t see anything. No lake no mountain just a big tree.

Besides the minor inconvenience of working construction of the B.M.-Inn, the merry go round and boat not working or open to guests We truly enjoyed it. It was very relaxing, nice place to walk beautiful, amazing scenery, and close by other point of interest. 👍
