Overall the hotel is clean. The hotel has some really nice amenities such as the pool, weight room and continental breakfast. Very quiet location and close to some restaurants and fuel stations. We were disappointed about the pool temperature though. For an indoor pool is was kept quite chilly. The other issue was that the breakfast, as it had many options was late opening. This affects guests getting to and from jobs or even picking up ubers. The room rate was a little high considering being really off season. Stays at the beachfront are cheaper. Reasons we gave 4 rating.

I booked the 2 double-bed suite. The fabric on all of the chairs were stained and discolored. Simply put -- they looked dirty. I flipped the cushions on the couch and found an uncomfortable amount of food crumbs. Several tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked or uneven. The soap and lotion pumps by the sink were clogged. When I pressed down on one of the pumps -- the liquid flew outward (instead of downward) and stained my shirt. Perhaps the most alarming thing happened during breakfast. I went to grab a milk for my young son and discovered that ALL of the milk containers were expired by 3 days!

The staff was friendly. Maybe time to consider updating the bathrooms a bit. Rust stains on the drsin and tile falling from thecshower base. Breakfast was nicely done. Excellent service.

stayed here for one night while traveling for work and was very disappointed. Room was FLITHY dirty bathroom, pill and hair on the floor, stained carpet, and even a bug on the nightstand and curtain. I switched rooms, but the new one was still not properly clean. For a brand that promises comfort and cleanliness, this was unacceptable. I will not be staying here again. I’ve stay at other locations and didn’t experience this. This is zero stars.

My room was not ready when I arrived.(3pm) The desk clerk had to leave the checkin area to find out when my room would be ready. This lasted for about 30 minutes. Other than that, everything else was ok. A omelette bar would be nice.😊

I've stayed at many Holiday in Express locations and this was by far the worst. The room was filthy. We would keep shoes by the bed because we didn't dare walk on the floor. The furniture was in rough shape, with the chair upholstery being completely worn through. Sound transfer was also terrible. We slept very poorly.
