Pleasantly surprised.

Exterior is old and faded, could use a new coat of paint. Lobby is dated and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Staff at check-in desk was welcoming and very nice. Room was clean and the sheets on the bed were clean and smelled fresh. Bathroom was clean, no mold. I honestly did not expect this and was pleasantly surprised.

This is a college town and there are lots of food choices close by. The hotel was right off the exit to highway. Front desk person at check in seemed distracted. At checkout the desk person was very nice. I stayed midweek so it was quiet. There is security overnight. The reason for just ok review was the bed not so comfortable. Sheets were too stiff for my liking. The pillows also not comfortable and I used my own.

Nice place to stay but watch out for the potholes.

Clean, great staff, shopping and dining within walking distance. Parking lot definitely needs work. Potholes are big enough to cause damage to your vehicle.

Rooms are fine, beds are comfy. The entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, so that’s unpleasant. Breakfast choices are slim: oatmeal, muffins and coffee. It’s ok for a place to crash, but it’s not glamorous.

Potholes so deep coming into the parking lot I thought i was going to lose my car. Key card didn’t work- had to go to desk 3 different times. Showers didn’t work well (we had 2 rooms). Dirty mattress. Heidi at the front desk was wonderful. Thankful she was there to keep letting me in my room.
