Fire alarms and TV glitches

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, the first and last nights of a three-night stay. The bed squeaked every time I turned over. The TV kept freezing and then taking 10-30 seconds to return to normal during my entire stay. The water in the sink never got hot, and the faucets were shedding their silver coating.

Best hidden gem

I stayed here for a recent volleyball tournament for my daughter while she stayed at the Hilton on International. I’ve stayed here before and will continue to stay here every time I visit due to the proximity to the Convention Center and the nearby eateries. Always a good value and great customer service - shout out to the manager Brandon for going above and beyond!

Excellent staff both in office and around property. Rooms are a bit stuffy but probably because it's older so not a huge deal. Our floor was very dirty. We cleaned it ourselves with sanitizing wipes which were completely black but then we were happy. Super convenient to convention center and surrounding area. Pool was great. Easy access to outside trash cans, elevator, stairs, and ice machine. Smoke alarm sounded 2 of our 4 night stay which was rough. Someone said it was due to someone smoking in their room so not hotel staffs fault, just inconsiderate guests. Enjoyed our stay otherwise.

Not impressed with this place at all. More of a motel than a hotel. I arrived at 11:30 pm and was put in a room at the very back of the property, which is next to a busy street. All night there were loud sirens and motorcycles driving by. I also walked by two guys smoking weed that made me very uncomfortable. My room was muggy, floors were dirty, bathroom fan had a lot of gunk on it, and there were broken tiles. The shower was also very hard to figure out how to get the warm water. And to top it off, the fire alarm went off TWICE at 4am!!! Woke me up and I couldn’t go back to sleep afterwards. The only saving grace is the service and the gals at the front desk - they were very friendly and helpful.
