Spacious Rooms, But Cleaning & Maintenance

I stayed at the Hyatt House in August 2025. The hotel, opened in December 2024, has clean common areas, a nice gym, good breakfast options, and a bar with food. My king suite was spacious, comfortable, and could easily fit three people. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance inside the suite were disappointing. The toilet was dirty with hair on the seat, and the glass shower door had a lot of soap scum. The shower itself was large, but the faucet was placed uncomfortably close to the wall, and the toilet was also set too close to the wall. The grout lines in the shower needed cleaning, and I even found an empty soap wrapper left behind. While shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided, there was no shelf or ledge to place personal toiletries, so I had to leave mine on the floor. The air vents were dusty, and the microwave had leftover food residue. I spoke to a housekeeper in the hallway about the toilet and vents, and they came promptly to clean, which I appreciated. There were also some maintenance issues. The kitchen area had no dedicated light switch, and the staff didn’t seem to know how the lighting worked. Maintenance told me to use the master switch, but that cuts power to the entire room—not a practical solution. The pool was very small and located just outside the parking lot, with a gate that didn’t seem secure.

The property was tidy. The eating area was a little chaotic & probably needed more supervision because there were kids grabbing things form the breakfast are etc., and it was s bit unsanitary. The shuttle to Disney is very convenient, although we did not go this time. All in all, the price was very reasonable & the breakfast was good with a variety of options and the free parking was a plus as well.

I love this place. It's very clean and specious. The suite with the 2 queens, sofa bed and the little kitchen was perfect. It's a good place to stay with the family. 15 mins driving to Universal, 20 mins to Disney Springs and the Premium Outlet was 25-30 mins drive because of the traffic. I would stay this again.

Hiya house is an amazing comfortable, clean hotel. From the welcoming staff, especially Tiana at the front desk, to housekeeping and facilities they were all wonderful. The sense and smell of cleanliness when you walk in is reassuring. The complementary morning breakfast that alternates daily was delicious. If you’re looking for transportation to Universal, they have it, two morning drop offs, and two evening pick ups, and you can also buy tickets to all types of attractions in the lobby area. This location is perfect and in the center of it all from restaurants to stores to amusement parks. There was nothing bad nor negative to say about this location. The room was a perfect size for me and my two kids. We had a one bedroom room that had a kitchenette, fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates, and silverware. If and when I come back to Orlando, this will be my primary choice to stay as I do not believe any other resort/hotel in the area could match it. Free parking?! Didn’t mention that? free parking amazing plus.
