For my recent stay at Quality Inn Orlando Near International Drive, 8342 Jamaican Ct, Orlando, FL 32819, which I booked through Expedia for January 9–16, 2026.
From arrival, the condition of the property was concerning. The front entrance mat was dirty, and the carpets on Level 3 were poorly maintained, though they were vacuumed on January 13. Inside my room, I found hair in the bed sheets and a toenail clipping on the floor beside the bed, which is unacceptable by any standard.
Throughout most of stay, Wi-Fi was not available in my room; including a total internet outage on January 14. I was finally able to access it on January 15. Because of this, I had to pay out of pocket for mobile data, despite internet access being advertised as an amenity. I also encountered a cockroach in my room one night, raising further concerns about cleanliness.
Breakfast offerings were extremely limited (bread, bagels, waffles, coffee, tea, and juice only—no eggs or other hot options), and even basic equipment was lacking, with only two slots of a four-slot toaster working. Additionally, housekeeping was only provided upon request, which was not clearly communicated at booking.
While staff members were polite and apologetic—particularly Jess and her coworker who attempted to assist on the night of January 11 or 12—the issues were never resolved.
Given the number and seriousness of these issues, I believe this stay did not meet the standards advertised on Expedia.
