Don’t stay here, it’s horrible

The first room I was given, I opened the door and little bugs ran off the bed all over the room. I went back to the lobby and they just handed me a new room key. Didn’t even say anything. You could tell the employee was not surprised at all that there were bugs in my room. Then the second room was about 80 feet from the last room. Rooms are old and dark, My building seems to be the smoke break area for the employees because there were employees standing in front of my room / building all day and night smoking as talking. The shower and bathroom was old, vent covered in rust and dust and hair all over the tub. I never complain but this was the scariest, grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. All the other hotels were booked so i couldn’t find another hotel. I’m hoping I’m saving a family or a person from a really horrible experience at the hotel by telling the truth about how bad it is.

I stayed one night. It was okay. There were small bugs/roaches crawling in the bathroom which made my stay very uncomfortable. I could go on about other things such as the AC & shower water pressure being very low but I’ll just say, it’s not a hotel I would stay at again.

3 day family stay

Hotel was run down. We also traveled with 5 people which the room stated slept 5, however upon arrival we were told that the roll away bed for the 5th person was an additional $20.25 per day fee. For that we could have gotten a 6person suite that would have been nicer. Very disappointed. Manager was super unhelpful.

Room was pretty clean, could be updated. Asked to stay in a room/floor where there were no animals (due to allergies). Many buildings ours had to luggage carriers to bring luggage to your room. Prob won't return.

I travelled with my 11 year old son. The check in line was about 30 minutes, and staff was ok but not particularly friendly or welcoming. Our first room was on the 6th floor. A bit dated but fine- until night time. Since it was 50 degrees we went to turn the heat on before bed. Immediately a strong burning smell came from the unit, followed by the smoke alarm going off. Within a minute we shut the unit off and left the room to notify the lobby of this major fire hazard and that we needed a safe room to sleep in. First they said it was booked up, then eventually found us another room. Still 6th floor and further away in another building. This property was NOT intuitive to navigate- even after 3 full days there we had trouble figuring it out sometimes. The 2nd room was identical to the first except now, the door handle and lock barely functioned. We had to smash the handle down SO hard to open it, and never once did it open on the first try. We managed, but it was annoying. The first night my son was too anxious that the heater would cause a fire from our scary experience in the first room so we shivered through the night. Tested the new room unit next day and it worked fine. There was a LOT of road noise especially in the first room which faced the highway. The 2nd room faces the opposite way and was a little better. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and the waitress was friendly. The little shop with snacks and drinks was decent too and staff there was friendly too.

The rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh sheets. Very clean and grounds are well cared for. The trolley provides easy transportation up and down International Drive.
