A unique and distinctive place to stay in Faribault. The campus has a lot of history and some old and important buildings. We enjoyed walking around. The Inn was quiet and comfortable, with spacious rooms and comfy bed. Breakfast was limited but just fine. The staff was very nice, and the price was very affordable.

Perfect!

A perfect stay. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and in a gorgeous setting. The cleanest room I have ever seen! Comfortable beds. Breakfast is easy, on the go, with no hot food but will hold you over. This is a remarkable property.

What a gem. I've stayed in Faribault many times, but now that The Inn at Shattuck is available, that's where I'll be every visit. Super clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms, located on a beautiful campus. A+

Beautiful campus, small room

Bed extremely comfortable, nice view from room, front desk girl super nice at check in. The room was small, with an odd layout (long narrow hall to bathroom). The shower door had not been cleaned and was covered in water spots, and the window sills were really dirty (see picture). The cleaning girls in the morning were too rambunctious and loud, we could hear them in our room with the door closed, and they started early 😔 Then they moved to the breakfast room and were loudly cleaning it around us as we tried to eat (there were a couple hours left before breakfast was over). The waters in the room turned out to cost $5 each? What? When I first saw them, I assumed they were provided for the coffee machine. Since they are warm, and the ice maker in the shared fridge is not working, do you really think they should cost $5 each?
