A comically bad Experience

I will prefus this all by saying I write negative reviews, but this trip was actually ruin by how poorly this place was opperating when we visited. We were traveling with an elderly individual with parkinsons. I spoke with a Westin associate prior to arrival and before the cancellation date to ensure the property would work for this person and was told we would be prioritized in the building closest to the main amenities. And told that golf carts are always available for guest pick ups. Upon arrival, our room was not ready until 5pm the day we checked in, well after check in time. We were not assigned a room in the building close to the ameneties. A golf cart came once over the course of a 5 night stay after trying to call one several times a day. Our disabled person could not get in and out of the shuttle well and needed a cart, but still nothing provided and no solutions offered the entire trip. Our ice machines didnt work, nor did the jets in the tub, except for once when black bacteria started spewing out of them while my small children were bathing. My kids got bacteria rash from the pool (they never get this usually). And the day we checked out I had arranged a late check out. Seemed fare considering our room wasn't ready for check in. But even still, they sent 4 different individuals to harass us over the course of the 1 hour we were there late and of which was arranged for with the front desk. This stay was comically bad.

Good hotel, okay restaurant.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The amenity were appreciated. The kids enjoyed the pool too. The only negative was the food at the restaurant on location. We had tacos, which were a bit bland but fine. My son’s salmon was way overcooked and fishy, I would have sent it back. There was a game room there too and my husband and kids enjoyed it. Overall a good hotel, we just wouldn’t eat at the restaurant again.
