Our room was dirty with either blood or number two smeared on the wall in the bathroom and floor. The hotel was under renovation so there was only one working elevator and the gym was closed. We had booked a king sized bed and ended up in a room with two queens. The free breakfast was lacking. They had a waffle machine that I was excited to try but the batter looked like a snot rocket to put it kindly. There was no bar at the hotel so we walked to the one at the hotel next door which was small but fine.

Our visit started with a quick and easy check-in. The following morning, we were told our 16 lb dog is not allowed in the breakfast area (never had this problem with other hotels). We were also admonished for not declaring our dog at check-in (Our dog was present, on a leash, as we checked in). For the most part, the hotel staff was curt and cold. The cleaning staff, on the other hand, was very good. The free breakfast was not as varied as we have experienced at other hotels, but there were some choices and it was clean.

The room was well appointed however the ac/heating control was NOT user friendly. It was either too cold or when I tried to change the temperature of the ac it turned to heat. I ended up with a soar throat and now a cold.

Person at the front desk was very helpful. The manager seemed like he didn’t wanna help as much as he should have when it came to the bathroom faucet, falling off and falling apart I think something should’ve been compensated for that as it was an inconvenience for me to have to move my room While I was getting ready to go to an event because of the bathroom not taken care of.
