Okay, if the price is right

This is a fine place to stay, just a bit worn. It felt a bit empty when I was there. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything worked. There’s not much nearby in terms of restaurants, so you will need to either drive or eat in the hotel bar/restaurant. The breakfast was fine. One quirk of this hotel is that it is designed around hexagons in some parts. This makes moving around it a bit strange and potentially disorienting. Staff were nice, but not overly efficient. I’d stay there again if the price was right.

Went to check in, and the uniformed staff were ill-equipped to deal with a reservation made from expedia. Started talking to Samantha at 2:20 did not get my keys until 3:45. Her and Shelby were there alone, with no manager on the property on a Saturday. They could not even grant my request for a late checkout, after all that. She said I would have to call, and when I called they said I would have to ask housekeeping, and then housekeeping kept banging on my door 3 times. Im just shocked they could not offer me something to compensate for all the time it took when it was a very simple issue. Its a shame that nobody in this generation wants to work, and customer service is basically dead. Red lion has an old style facilities which i find ornate and quaint. The room was very clean. Bartender was also very young, Chloe, seemed like she did not want to be there because i dont believe she smiled one time during our interaction. A friendly bar tender makes all the difference, i wouldve surely stayed or came back for more drinks and spent much more money if I felt comfortable. I walked 2 miles to the circle k to buy a six pack instead, and the circle k gal was nicer than all of ya'll at red lion. The manager Automn did talk to me in the morning and apologized, as well as Raz at the front desk were both professional. I would probably come back, just dont use expedia! Also if you dont have a car theres nothing around here. The grounds had some ugly construction going on.
Side salad was a good portion.
I asked for medium rare. I don't complain but there was no pink.
