Good location needs refresh

Friendly and helpful staff, good location, clean enough. Hotel interior is pretty dated and in rough shape in areas. Two elevators out of order on the morning we left. Nothing offensive, just not up to usual Hilton standards.

When we arrived we were told the parking garage was full and only for gold members…..not for the regular people who rent a hotel room for $250. We had to drive the streets of downtown Pittsburgh at 11pm to park on the street and walk with our bags. When I mentioned to the woman at check in how disappointing we found the situation, her reply left us stymied. We have 374 spaces and that’s it. “You can’t expect us to have room for every guest. It is listed in the Hilton fine print that parking may be unavailable.” Now I know. Lesson learned.

Great hotel in downtown Pittsburgh
