Staff at this location was by far better than at any property I stayed in all over Salt Lake City Valley in the last year and I stay at this hotels every other week. My a/c was not working so good so I called downstairs and explain to them, they told me they had no other rooms to put me in so they send this amazing gentleman to look at it. It was around 11 pm and I knew we wouldn’t get any sleep if something is not done. I think his name was Miguel. He was so friendly and understanding and told me if I am ok with him replacing the entire a/c unit in my room. I said yes please whatever he needs to do. He said usually it takes him 30-45 min but he will work fast. I thought why not as long as I am in bed by midnight ! This gentleman went and brought that whole brand new unit , removed the old unit that big box so fast we were in wow. It felt like watching a tv show. Within 10 minutes he was done. He saw I had kids with me and told me at the end normally they don’t do this but he really respected us for respecting him showing up that late and just plane for displaying positive energy towards him. My teenage kids couldn’t believe how respectable he was towards us. I told My kids later treat everyone with respect if you want kindness to return to you. Even if the person is rude we don’t judge because we don’t know what’s going on in their life. Miguel wished my kids great game day and my daughter scored an amazing goal, on our way home she told me this was for Miguel.

Yikes - Cant upload photos or I would.

Got into the first room and the door's deadbolt doesn't lock. Tried multiple attempts it doesnt lock, go back down the elevator which sounds and feels like you are going to get locked inside. Talked to the front desk and he argues with me about it locking just fine. It doesnt sir. I would like a new room and asap. It's late 10:30ish and we have to be gone at 6:30am for the second day of games. Get to the next room. There is an inch gap at the bottom you can clear as day see into the halI. Smells like dog urine. Crumbs all over the floor, the drawers to all of the cabinetry are broken, bolts as pulls, there are no chairs besides the one at the desk which doesn't even roll. The fan unit doesnt work- was hoping for some air flow to get the urine smell out. The floor in the bathroom is rotted out. It sinks about 1/2-3/4 inch when you walk on it. Lots of the planks in the room are not seamed together. There are full almonds and dust bunnies all over the floor. The lamp between the beds doesn't turn on past a tiny flicker. Pulled the table out to switch the plug, still nothing. So dirty behind it. One usb outlet in the whole room was on the lamp but only if the light switch is on. And continues to flicker until 1:30 in the morning whe the light starts flashing like a lightning storm. At 3am the bulb turns on brighter than the sun. By then my phone is charged and I turned the lamp off. Got up and ate complimentary breakfast which was okay with a few options.

I was excited to see my bed made each day (except for Sunday). The temp was great and stayed steady. The only complaint I had was no cups were left each day. I'd recommend anyone in the area to stay there.
