Receptionist did not understand that the price I was quoted was for a room with two beds. I had a received a discount with my reservation, and it caused confusion regarding the room I paid for. We were able to switch rooms, however.

We were in town to go rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park. This was a nice hotel at a less expensive price. It wasn't fancy or high end, but the beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom was clean, there was a small microwave and refrigerator and it's walking distance to a grocery store. It met all our needs for the night. It's likely I will stay here in the future.

Absolutely get what you pay for and more! The rooms are modest, but clean. The highlight was the shower—excellent water pressure and nice and hot! Better than at home! I was worried there wouldn’t be a fridge, but there was a full kitchenette! Obviously, it’s not the Ritz, but perfect for Redmond!

JUST OK

Hotel manager/attendant wasn't very friendly. Asked for a lower level room since we both were using canes. Thought we may get a lower room near the office since it didn't seem there were many rooms in that area that were rented. Instead, our room was down a slope and all the way around back. Since were dropped off he chastised us for needing help with our bags. He finally did assist us. At first glance our room was OK. Seemed clean enough and comfortable as older hotel rooms go. Upon closer look, we found a few bugs in the bathroom and on the beadspread. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were like sleeping on bricks. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper and there were holes in the washclothes. I guess overall the place was just OK, since we weren't in our room very much. However, I WOULD NOT stay there again.
