Magical Nest Hideaway

We are located about 1-1.5 miles west of Mayo Clinic. You'll find us located in a beautiful, quiet and secluded neighborhood. We have a private entrance, a staircase and path to your lovely hideaway. The wooded area behind our home has lots of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see deer in the backyard, as many as six at one time! Sometimes a group of turkeys will feed under our deck, you can watch them just outside the windows of your studio apartment. We are often told of how beautiful and peaceful it is here. There is a covered patio and furniture to relax on in the evenings.

Clean room. 10 minutes from Mayo. Be aware of steps down to the entrance of room. Steps are not very well lit and steep, if you have any issues walking I would be wary. Experience of being at VRBO where owner lives on premises was not for us. Also, paid at total of 360 for 5 nights, but was able to move appointments around at Mayo so only stayed 2 nights. Thought the owner would provide some type of refund or discount but they did not. I completely understand that I had rented for full 5 days so that's what I owed, just thought under the circumstances they would have done a little something is all. Owners did a very good job providing detailed house rules.

The title summarizes it…..Magical nest…beautiful from moment we entered the neighborhood and drove in the drive! Greg is so kind, welcoming, caring, helpful, and a great communicator. Gave us excellent directions before and for our entire stay. The apartment is beautiful! Bed is so comfy. My husband and I were both there for Mayo Clinic visits. It is so easy to get Mayo Clinic and so wonderful to be able to come back and relax. We felt so supported yet very private. Beautiful music playing was a welcoming touch.What a blessing!Thank you Greg and Yvonne! You go above and beyond!

Loved staying at the Majestic Nest! Coffee in the backyard every morning watching the wildlife was an added bonus. Host and hostess Greg and Yvonne were very accommodating and catered to our needs! We highly recommend staying at The Nest when looking for a VRBO in Rochester!

Perfect place for us all around!

Greg was a great host. The Magical Nest was exactly as described/expected. Great for 1or 2 people. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect as well. Nice quiet neighborhood and a shaded/private patio was awesome. The check-in/check-out process very simple/straight forward.

Cozy apartment

This was a very nice one bedroom apartment. We were there for appointments with Mayo Clinic. Apartment had everything we needed for our short stay. Loved the patio area where we could sit outside on nice days. Was relaxing to listen to the birds singing and see all the turkeys and wildlife wander past. Host Greg was very kind and helpful. Very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. And did all he could to make our stay relaxing.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and loved it. It was so quiet and relaxing. My husband had surgery at the mayo and had to stay in town for a couple days afterwards. The mayo is about a 4 to 5 min drive. I would definitely stay again. We also saw a family of 3 deer right outside our window
