I checked in and room was right next to the freeway and the whole stay I hear the whole freeway of cars honking and traffic and first thing in the morning you would hear the garbage truck get the trash first thing in the am. The parking is 26$ a night, the most expensive parking I’ve paid for at a hotel per night. I suggest parking on the streets where there’s plenty of spaces at night.

Balboa Park over night

We had a good time. It was nice that we each had our own bed - there were three (3) of us. Breakfast was better than most self serve buffet set ups, and it was included with the price of the room.

Good price and overall the room was fine. Had to be sure when locking our door because you could just push it open if you didn't double check. Most of our issues came from things the hotel couldn't control, such as, noisy guests and loud people at the pool late at night.

Good choice for families.

We had a family of 5 in a room with 2 queens and 1 fold out sofa bed. Our room was clean, roomy, and had plenty of towels, soap, and coffee/cups. Breakfast had a good variety. Paid parking available in the lot, but there was plenty of street parking (on a dead end street, so little traffic). Well located for San Diego family attractions. Only one small complaint: our room had a window directly overlooking the hot tub, and it seemed poorly insulated; we could hear noise until the pool closed at 10pm.
