The hotel is nicely appointed, clean modern and comfortable. There is a spa on site that I didn't have time to enjoy but looked lovely. Nice outdoor pool. Restaurant on site as well; we didn't have dinner but did enjoy breakfast and the food presentation taste and quality was very good. Parking fee was somewhat of a surprise ($38/day) which seemed excessive, but I think they are providing security, which was obviously necessary since my biggest complaint about my stay was the unsafe feeling of the area around the hotel- there was a man crawling around in the vegetation on the hill adjacent to the parking lot (and right outside my ground floor room) angrily screaming obscenities. I later saw him crossing through the property. It was somewhat unnerving but there did seem to be a private security presence on the property so either it's a known problem they're dealing with or something they're prepared to deal with. It only happened the first day, there were no other incidents I noticed the remainder of the time we were there (2 days). Overall the hotel was nice, had a luxury feel and was convenient to the areas we were visiting.
