Excellent Hotel. Superb breakfast included. Great bed, linens and towels. The only negative was tiny tub and small bathroom but both servicesble and a minor negative. Solid bar w 5 beers on tap. 20min walk from Coit Tower. A must see if go !

We stayed here before our cruise and were so happy with our stay that we stayed here again after the cruise returned. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was great. Highly reccomend this hotel! And it was great for walking to local attractions.

Breakfast staff was super rude, especially Cynthia. They allot you a table but the manager said if you don’t like your table go back and tell her. She ignored us for 15 mins and when we asked her to get her manager, she very rudely pointed us to another staff who found us a table. Also the sink is in room had poor lightening and thr BB so had had extremely low pressure and like a shower spray. Very difficult if you want shave and clean the razor.

The location was so great, literally steps to fisherman’s wharf. Room is ok, is just that the aircon in our room was loud, wasn’t able to slept well…its like an engine… Breakfast was good, though too crowded.

I chose this property for its excellent location, breakfast, and on-site parking. The breakfast was terrific. I was driving in a large SUV, specifically a Suburban. I called in advance to verify that the parking would accommodate a full-size SUV. I have been to San Francisco before and am aware that parking is minimal. I was told yes. Upon check-in, I was informed by the clerk and the manager that my SUV would not fit and would have to park it two blocks away. It was not the warm welcome I had been looking forward to upon arriving after a long day's drive.

I don't think I've seen a better breakfast layout than the Hotel Rui Plaza. Lots of options. Lots of staff to keep the food flowing and take away dishes. Great job.
