Nothing notable about it

Hotel was nice but nothing overwhelmingly great about it. Very busy, so that may have affected the experience. I have stayed in nicer resorts in SF but it wasn’t bad either.

I arrived and asked staff for a bottle of water or food and was told they don't have either. I should '...go to 7-11 at 11pm at night, they were pretty sure one was close by'. The M Lounge was closed the entire time I was there, food nearby was good at Ippudo and Dellarosa.

There was not enough parking and so we had to park offsite in an area that is not conducive with walking alone to park and retrieve your car

Love Marriott properties, this one was nice. Room was mostly clean, (all the typical surfaces and areas were clean) the top of the shower had was coated in dust, there was some sort of vent/exhaust in the shower, if you looked inside it was caked full of dust and definitely hasn’t been maintained in a while. You could definitely tell at one time in this rooms lifetime it was a smoking room, definitely wasn’t as fresh as I would typically expect from a Marriott property. The M-Club was great although kind of dark. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, close to public transit, great food, and coffee. Room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only issue (kinda big) is the valet only $90/night parking. We ended up using the Hearst Parking center nearby ($35/night) instead. I get that it’s common in SF for bigger named hotels to charge a lot for parking, but just because it’s common doesn’t make it right. Didn’t outweigh the positives though and we’d definitely stay here again.
