The stay was just OK. The hotel seems like it was apartments that were converted to a lodge and the rooms overlook the parking lot and a very run down adjacent building. I did find it quite odd that they think 2 single croissants left hanging on the door in a sack in the morning is a “continental breakfast”. Seems a bit misleading. Personally I think there are better options for hotels in the area. This was the most expensive at nearly $500 per night and definitely was not worth the cost.

Service was great. Nice amenities too. Really enjoyed the fresh coffee and pastries delivered to the room each morning. The property is cute. We were told that it was remodeled back in 2019/2020 timeframe. You could still tell that the buildings were old. A little rough around the edges. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Very comfortable room with a king bed and fireplace. The lodge is dog friendly, but didn’t know we had to climb flights of stairs to get to our room. Warning for early morning coffee drinkers, there is no in-room coffee maker. Instead, they delivered yummy pastries with a thermos of coffee to your door at 7:30 am. The location is right off the freeway, minutes to the Cal Poly entrance.

No elevators, not great for older adults with mobility difficulties. The only full body mirror inside the closet and the closet door is self-closing… No coffee machine. The refrigerator does not cool -not great if you need to store wine or medication. No on-site gym. Scant information given at check in (like the little rope inside the room that helps keep the bathroom door open to let the steam out -the exhaust fan doesn’t work that well, is actually the “do not disturb” sign.

This was my 4th stay here in 6 months-each time has been so easy. My room was ready when I arrived early, everything was in good working order, the staff is always friendly. My only request would be for the property to add cosmetic mirrors and full length mirrors to the guest rooms. Aside from that, nothing but compliments.

This hotel nailed all the little details! From the upscale soaps to the complimentary tote bag full of coffee and fresh parties on your door knob in the morning, this place is crushing it. While the hotel doesn't have many amenities, the details and customer service were quite memorable. We'll be back!
