Natasha in the front desk was quick in checking us in. She said to let her know if we needed anything. It is very quiet and walking distance from most places. Would stay here in future visits to Cambria.

Average but could have been higher...

This was a short getaway to visit Hearst's Castle. The location and price were reasonable (17 minutes to the park) and we both agreed that the room was clean and comfortable for us. My only concern stemmed from the inability of the staff at check-in to process my payment and deliver a receipt for the cash payment at check-in. Though not her fault for the system failure it was clear she didn't know how to handle the situation. New person perhaps? I did receive a receipt the next day and the staff remained in good spirits both days.

Balcony from our hotel room has a nice view of the creek and hillside where we saw cows grazing. The location of the hotel is walking distance to charming cafes and restaurants. The front desk was not manned while we were there. We were in and out but we did not see anybody at the front desk except when we checked in.

Great location not far from the main shopping and dining locations. Peaceful and quiet with a small creek in back and frogs that lull you to sleep with the sliding door open and screen closed. It was a bit weird that they only have one nightstand for the king size bed. It makes it difficult if both people want to read in bed, or set your personal things close by like reading glasses, watch, etc.

The hotel was nice, near to all amenities in Cambria. Unfortunately, the toilet was blocked in our room and, as there was no 24h reception, we couldn’t complain until the morning. This was vey disappointing, taking into account that is was a motel type of hotel, wich costed more than most of the 4 star hotels we stayed in California.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Creekside Inn its a nice walking distance to town. Weather was perfect and it was nice to have a balcony to sit out and enjoy take out, ice cream or just a cup of coffee. It was really nice to hear the cows during the day and the frogs at nice. Staff was super friendly and suggested a few places to eat. We will definitely be back for a quiet stay .
