Riviera Beach House is a boutique hotel right in the Funk Zone. The rooms are small, but beds are comfortable and they have made great use of the limited space. We paid for a king room with a patio and when we got to the hotel, all of the patio rooms were under unexpected construction. Management went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the options they presented and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family hotel with very small rooms.

I and my three children stayed here for an overnight and while the rooms are VERY (way smaller than you imagine) tiny, we were comfortable. I might’ve felt a little claustrophobic if it weren’t for the garden patio attached to the room. Even though the rooms are very small, it’s a very cute place and you cannot beat the location. We took the Amtrak and it’s literally right next-door. We spent the day at the Moxie museum, which is also right next-door and then walk to the beached and ate at all of the delicious local restaurants nearby. I would absolutely stay here again. The employees are so incredibly friendly and informative. 10 out of 10 for them. There was an older couple in the lobby who were very displeased with the presence of mg young children (who are very well behaved). I guess they thought it was an adults only hotel but it’s actually the PERFECT hotel for kids given the location to the children’s museum and Amtrak.

This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the Funk Zone. Literally walk downstairs and you're within a few blocks of everything you'd want to do. Futhermore, the hotel itself is top quality with beautiful rooms and a large, modern yet welcoming lobby. All the staff I encountered were fantastic, no matter what time of day. The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms in the rooms are a little annoying. There is no closable bathroom door, only a translucent glass door that's open at the top and bottom like a designer bathroom stall. All sound from in the bathroom can be heard outside the bathroom, whether you'd like that or not. Furthermore, while the bedroom has a wonderful blackout curtain, the bathroom does not. And with an open glass door separating the bathroom window from the rest of the room, the blackout curtain in the bedroom becomes useless. Overall this one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in every way, with one of the oddest "designer" bathrooms I've ever seen.

Super cute but… They’ve only been able to do what they can with a very old building. Double room tiny. Shower like an RV with a door you had to move and water gets everywhere. You have to call the front desk and ask them to turn the heat on, so you can use the wall heater. No central air. Definitely not worth the price. Will not be going back.

I really loved the stay here! Staff were nice and friendly and helped a lot. As FYI the bathrooms are a bit small and the showers are a little confusing but other than that we had an excellent stay here. Would definitely come back again!

Excellent location

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. Everything was perfect about this place except the room was tiny! This was smaller than my cruise ship room. The bathroom felt like a cruise ship bathroom. It was very clean and nicely updated just super small. We had our dog with us and they welcomed our dog with a dog goodie bag which was so awesome. I will definitely be staying here again but at least I know what to expect when it comes to the size.
