Clean room, updated decor, good breakfast. Room down the hall left dog unattended and wouldn’t stop barking so that was not cool. We were traveling with a little dog so we re dog people but didn’t enjoy listening to scared neighbor’s dog. You’re not supposed to leave pets unattended.

Ince you walk in to the hotel you get punched in the face with a fall cinnamon scented air freshener which is one of my least liked scents. The room wasn’t terrible but it was very muggy and kind of musky but that went away after a while with the 1990s a.c being turned on. The room phone didn’t work, the tv kept cutting in and out, the mattress felt like it’s been there for a decade with pretty noticeable body indents. The worst part was the person or people staying in the room above me which I understand isn’t the hotel’s fault but it was ridiculous. They were literally stomping their feet and like marching back and forth. Called front desk about it they said they would manage them. Noise stopped for about 30-40mins and then would continue. Started from when I got there at 8:30pm to almost 1am. You get what you pay for here.

The floor of the bathroom was very sticky. The bathtub was very old and showed signs of wear. One bed had fitted sheets that worked well, the other bed had sheets on it that were ill-fitting and kept coming off. We did not eat breakfast there. The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy and quick.

PROS: Desk was friendly at check in and out, elevator available, room was spotless, beds were firm but comfortable, plenty of pillows, breakfast burritos were very good. CONS: Bathroom door was hard to close completely, and the faucet difficult to turn on (but not impossible). Room had a mini fridge and coffee maker, but not a microwave (would have been useful). No orange juice at breakfast (personal preference). Overall, we enjoyed our brief stay and would likely stay there again.

Excellent stay for the money. Old school hotel turned into cool coyote joint. Nice decor. Clean rooms. Really friendly staff. I’d say go for it if you’re looking for a solid place for a good price.
