Cute motel - price was very reasonable.

I really liked the look of it . The moon pies and RC colas in the room were fun. Great donuts in the morning. Air conditioning was great. Only complaint was that our room key deactivated a couple times. I had to go get it reactivated. It wasa little noisey being close to the road and its a bit of a walk to get to restaurants etc. Overall i liked it and would stay again.

Mediocre at best

Way over hyped and over filtered pics. Room was gross and worn out. AC was ok but understandable since it was summer temps. Parking was overpriced. No pool. It is just an old motel with some paint slapped on it. Just find another place unless this place is the cheapest and you are on a budget.

Thunderbird is the Stuff

This was a fun place and we will def be back!! One night was not enough. I'm not a fan of paying to park but I get it in this area. The fun decor and great staff made this a fun stay.

Un posto eccellente! Colorato e pulito, richiama i colori caldi del Sud! Molto disponibili: siamo arrivati in largo anticipo e abbiamo avuto in pochi minuti la camera. Due to unforeseen circumstances on the day of checkin I was unable to make the trip. Hotels.com tried to help to get the cost refunded but Thunderbird Inn refused to do a waiver. Your agents were helpful in this process however Thunderbird Inn was not. I could not have cancelled sooner as the circumstances occurred while I was on my way to check in.

The rooms were clean and bright. The beds were comfortable and the RC Cola and mini moonpies were a lovely touch. It is an older, retro building so there is outside noise but it's a great spot for a short stay.
