We were staying on the 3rd floor, and for some reason there is this sewer smell from the bathroom that makes the whole room smell really bad, like fart or bowel smell. Also, we asked the front and also the cleaning lady to not come in for cleaning the room but they didn’t listen and just did it anyway for two days in a roll. Front staff can be more welcoming like greet with hi, especially the younger man staff at the front.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at G2. It was clean, comfortable and we stayed in a deluxe room. The service was friendly, efficient and incredibly helpful. The location, close to several stations, in Seoul was perfect for us. When we return to Seoul, we will definitely book the G2 again.

Perfect place to stay

A great hotel in a good location in Seoul if you are looking for a basic room with no extra amenities. The room is very clean and the breakfast included offered a wide selection of cold and hot food. I would recommend this to stay here as it is a very short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping.

I was given a complimentary upgrade and late checkout! Thank you G2 for your generosity. Upon check in, my colleague discovered a stain on the comforter and brought it to the front desk attention and it was immediately changed! I like that the room smelled really “refreshed” and cleaned whenever I returned. Even though I asked that the bedsheets not to be changed, it always looked cleaned and neat after housekeeping! I feel really comfortable staying in this hotel despite I dislike bathtubs but it’s really cleaned and the bed is comfortable ! Thank you!

If you are going to book a room, make sure to book the Quadruple room. It's 2 king beds, but what I noticed is that it's more spacious that the regular rooms. We had 4 adults with 7 luggage. We also had a room on the 9th floor (911) which was a corner room with a view of the Namsan Tower. Just be careful as they have mosquitos at this hotel and in the elevators. Over all, this was a nice stay. Washer and Dryer in the basement, small gym, a rooftop for smokers and you can also see the tower from the roof as well.
