This property was almost perfect for our needs. We loved sitting on our balcony at night, looking out at the bay. The only disappointing thing was having to pay almost $20 per person for breakfast, which consisted of the same thing we had at our free continental breakfast in Anchorage. The breakfast was not worth the money, so we went out to eat instead.

On both nights I had to call the front desk and request that they ask people hanging out in the lobby to quiet down without success. Also, Upon arrival, the bathroom tub had hair in it, there was small hair on the pillow cases and a long hair on the sheet. Disgusting!!

The room was small and located right in the lobby. Every time we left the room, we were in the middle of people checking in or out. The breakfast, which you had to pay for, was subpar. The view from the room was terrible, and the room itself was old.

The Hotel Edgewater was a very nice hotel that was a perfect location for our 2 night stay in Seward. We had a nice corner room with ocean view. The room was small but convenient and close to everything. Staff was very friendly and courteous.
