I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was quite mixed. Upon arrival, I received a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the staff member overlooked my paid lounge access, making it inconvenient since my room was on the 4th floor and the lounge was on the 9th. The room was comfortable but felt rather dated and didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. To make matters worse, I received an unexpected wake-up call at 4 AM, which I hadn’t requested at all! Breakfast was another letdown. The layout was confusing, and my table was located on the other side of the buffet sections, forcing me to cross the reception every time I wanted food. I found the food to be just okay, but I didn’t indulge much, so I can't comment extensively. On a positive note, the pool area was beautiful, and the surrounding environment was pleasant. The staff were polite and friendly throughout my stay, which was appreciated. Overall, I felt I paid too much for what should have been a luxurious 5-star experience. I left feeling underwhelmed.

Thank you to the team at Grand park City hall for making our stay so effortless. We only stayed a short 2 nights but despite this> the team at reception and concierge offered impeccable service. Thank you for helping create surprise and delight M&M moments for our 8 year old (Adam at Concierge) and for the beautifully packed breakfast box at 5am. Also special mention to Nazri for his help in making our short time visiting even more memorable with great suggestions to improve upon what we had planned.

I appreciated that my request for a higher floor was accommodated—thank you for that. However, I had mentioned that the stay was to celebrate a birthday, and was a little disappointed that nothing was arranged, especially as a returning guest. Just sharing this feedback in hopes it can be considered for future visits.

Just a few niggly things that meant it didn’t meet the 5 star rating it advertises itself as. Non user friendly room light situation, We couldn’t use the shower products when we had a bath because they were locked in the cubicle, the check in desk was slow, the poolside bar was closed even though there was qr code option and the poolside shower room had run out of body wash. Breakfast was ok. Room was quiet, spacious with a comfy bed. Great location for buses and MRT and walkable to Raffles. Friendly staff.

Good hotel but cramped family room

Great location for exploring the malls and local area. Walkable to the Marina Sands and Gardens. The pool and gym were very welcome. We had a family room but with the double bed and two singles the room was quite cramped due to the extra beds. This left little room for suitcases and relaxing. We were only there for two nights so it wasn’t the end of the world.

The hotel was immaculate and our room on the 9th floor had everything we needed for the 7 days we stayed there. We opted for the Crystal Club - which was also on the 9th floor - and it was definitely worth the extra money. From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we left we were impressed by the professional, helpful and friendly staff. A special shout out to Gladys and Kripa in the Crystal Club, who always greeted us with a smile and were always eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The position of the hotel was perfect as it was next to the MRT, which we used on a daily basis to get around Singapore. It was also in walking distance to many of the places we wanted to see. I couldn't fault this hotel and would certainly recommend.
