Everything you need is in the area. We had a suite with breakfast and executive lounge access. We had an early morning arrival, and we got in the room extremely early due availability. Hotel food is excellent if you do room service or eat in the bar or restaurant. Once route discovered, access to two malls is excellent. Access to MRT is around the corner. Great property all around.

The staff was nice and the rooms are well appointed. I don't appreciate the location very much. I like to walk and take the metro, and it is not convenient for either. If you want to go to china town or proper Hawker, you are walking and it isn't a pretty scene. If you want to head the Marina Bay Sands or the waterfront park then the walk isnt great either. My biggest concern is the design of the hotel where all the rooms face the center. It is loud in the morning due to the birds that live in the interior (cool unless you want to sleep) and in the evenings they have parties until after 10 making all sorts of noise.

Hotel is attractive on the inside. It’s well located within a 10 minute walk of an underground station and has a mall adjacent to it on each side of the street. When we first arrived and went to our room our door lock did not work. We assumed that the battery was dead in the lock itself as the key card had worked in the elevator to allow us access to the required floor. We went back to reception, and the woman who had checked us in went up with us to verify the problem. Instead of waiting for someone to come and replace the battery in the lock, she then offered us a different room. A bellman subsequently brought our luggage and new keys to our new room. One day, we mistakenly left our “do not disturb”light on when we went out. When we got back later in the afternoon, we took the light off and put on the “maid service requested” light, hoping that it wasn’t too late to have our room made up. When we came back from dinner, the room was indeed made up. The room was absolutely silent. We heard nothing from any of our neighbours. We had a great view of the Marina Bay Sands and the nighttime light show.

The property was beautiful, with a very dramatic lobby. The staff was courteous, and quite helpful with any questions that I may have. My Marina Bay view room was incredible, well worth the extra cost. I loved the easy access to the mall, underneath the hotel. One reason that I booked this hotel, was that it reminded me of the grand feel, of the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, which I have always loved.

The location is excellent!! If you book a room with view to the Marina Vay Sands is Superb!!! Breakfast buffet with hundreds of options and great quality. The hotel inside is also beautiful. The only thing we had is before arrival, I was contacting them for airport pick up, and was not easy like should be, I had to send several emails before I got my confirmation the day before our arrival. Will stay here again.

Nice hotel and very interesting interior design. Room a bit small if travelling with large suitcases but very comfy bed etc. staff very good especially in the bar. Breakfast buffet was big and OK but had better elsewhere. Coffee was terrible. Nice pool area but lacked atmosphere. Plus they leave the cushions out in all weather so they’re constantly wet. All in all a decent hotel in a good location (connected to a mall via a secret doorway.
