Dated but comfortable.

Amazing price for the location! I was visiting Stockbridge with friends and this made a great basecamp for us. We didn't take part in the amenities but I can see how families would enjoy it. Our trio had plenty of space during our 2 night stay. It is dated but comfortable enough. Like visiting an old aunt.

This place is it's own oasis in the Berkshires. Very nice place which was clean and the folks we talked to at the front desk were very very nice and helpful! It would be tough for someone who has any mobility issues, no elevator and even we had a really hard time getting into and out of the tub/shower and we don't have mobility issues.

Regarding Replacement Towels, we requested to replace towels for Bath when we checked in, we’ve talked about replacement towels for couple of minutes, but you didn’t explain they will be charged. We haven’t asked about the fee because we never expect replacement towels will be charged. Never been charged at any other hotels before. We wanted you to let us know they will be charged when we asked. In addition, we asked Towels for BATH, but you put towels for POOL. We regret that we didn’t get the service we requested, and charged without any explanation.

The resort is a bunch of motel-like building. We arrived at night and with the poor outdoor lighting they have, it took us an hour to find ours. The suite is OK, but lack any character. The worst thing about it is the lighting--it takes a long time to figure out where the switches are. Some guests might be satisfied, but If oner is looking for a "real Berkshire" experience, I strongly recommend staying away!

This was our third year of two summer weeks at Oak 'n' Spruce. The accommodations are comfortable and convenient, and the staff is wonderful. We hope to be back next summer.

The property is great! Lots of amenities and family friendly. We enjoyed Jorge at the resort bar! His service was top notch. Check in was slow and when we added an additional night, the front desk neglected to reset our room keys so when we returned to our room after being at the pool all day, we were locked out. Luckily we had a cell phone and were able to call the front desk but we had to walk to the front desk which was in another building on site with our pool stuff and kids to have them reset the keys. Wish they could have handled this better. There wasn’t much sympathy for us being inconvenienced. We will know next time.
