We come here once a year to celebrate my husbands birthday. It is absolutely stunning. The view from the room overlooks the ocean. The pool is so beautiful. I highly recommend staying here

I was disappointed with my stay. Right next to the airport so it was loud. I probably won’t stay at this hotel again. It’s overpriced for what you get. Pool closed down. Hotel seemed old and a little dirty. Bang wasn’t worth the buck. I’m staying at the Hilton bayftront in st Pete tonight and it’s as nice for half the price.

Nice staff, poor accessibility.

I had to stay nearby for a surgery. I was really surprised that there were no automatic doors. Thanks goodness for staff, because I struggled and people with lots of luggage battled those heavy glass doors. Also, no benches outside? Most hotels have these two things. Staff was nice, but no accessibility.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Casitas expecting a relaxing, upscale experience for my birthday—and it turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The problems started at check-in. We had reserved and paid for two rooms, but didn’t receive the key to the second one until after 2 PM the next day. No one informed us or followed up, and the staff showed no interest in resolving the issue—instead trying to relocate us to the main hotel, not the Casitas we booked. The room itself was a disaster: rusty and patched bathtubs, stained ceilings, filthy sofa and carpet, and visible dust on all surfaces. One fridge didn’t work at all, and the other made so much noise we couldn’t sleep. The ice maker was broken, and we had to fight to get just one bucket of ice. Housekeeping? They only made the beds—nothing was actually cleaned. Things got worse when the power went out on the third night. We had to leave just to escape the heat. When we called for help, Olivia Stollier was extremely rude and unhelpful, showing zero professionalism or empathy. The TVs were outdated—only one out of three had Chromecast, and none were smart TVs as advertised. Even the on-site restaurant was closed for construction and not operating during listed hours. For over $1,400 for three nights, this stay was unacceptable. The Casitas are outdated, poorly maintained, misrepresented online, and the service was appalling. It ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration. I would not recom

Property was not as advertised. We understand that they had storm damage from the previous year once we arrived there but on their website it shows a board walk, private beach area, perfect as can be and that was not true advertisement. They have a private man made beach on one side of the property but much smaller than the photos and no boardwalk/nature preserve. Lack of transparency on the website felt deceiving. Second, we returned back to the hotel late one evening and found the water had been shut off. Couldn’t wash our hands/shower at all. When we went down to let the front desk know they said we should have been notified at check in that the water would be shut off from 1:00-4:00am. We were not. The final evening we asked for towels to be delivered because we had a very early morning flight. Once I got out of the shower the morning of leaving, I went to get dry and found floor mats had been delivered and not towels. Overall it was a very frustrating experience and we wouldn’t stay here again. Disappointing because we were here celebrating a big birthday. Staff were very friendly and we felt bad they had to try and rectify so many mistakes made by this hotel.
