I absolutely loved my stay at Dona Lutz. Everything about this place was wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell the hosts truly care about the guest experience. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming. The location was also perfect, right in the middle of Taos and close to everything, which made it very convenient to explore the area. This is one of those places that makes you want to come back. I would highly recommend Dona Lutz to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and memorable stay.

My wife and I had a terrific stay at La Dona Luz. It is like staying in a New Mexico museum and Paco (owner) was there to greet us and take us on a tour. We were in the Yellow Bird room, which is actually two super-colorful rooms. The inn provides a hot breakfast on weekends, which was nice. You can’t beat the location—right at the main intersection of Taos, so easy walk to everything. We loved our stay.

Quirky hotel down an unpaved alley. Truly a passion project of the owner. Very historic feel. If you want an unusual, intimate experience with lots of interaction you will be delighted.
