When I arrived for check in at 3:30pm I waited for 10 minutes in lobby waiting to be helped. Once the staff acknowledged me I was told the room was not ready due to staffing issues. There was another couple ahead of me which were told the same thing. My wife and I were attending a wedding nearby and had planned on getting ready in our hotel room instead of at home (2 hours away) we were forced to get ready in the public restroom at the hotel because the rooms weren’t going to be ready in time for us. Not a good experience changing and doing hair etc inside a public restroom. Not a good experience.

The restroom was old and the rust around the base of the shower showed it. The motion light in the restroom was crazy, going off in the middle of you doing your business on the toilet and while showering. The shower was cramped and not pleasant to shower in. Jefferson Rd must be the local race track. I chose that side of the property to stay away from the freeway noise on the other side but it didn't matter because the drag racing was just as bad. Front desk staff was very nice and very pleasant smell when entering the hotel. Handicap door release didn't work and should be a priority to fix. Temecula is a beautiful city to visit amd I hope the hotels will reflect the city's value to make ot an unforgettable experience.

The breakfast was very nice and the dining area was very clean. They were very busy and the staff worked very hard to keep up. Love the pancake machine but it ran out of mix and it took a while for them to add so we didn’t get them. The hallway carpet on the 3rd floor looked stained and the small on the hall was not good. The room was clean. We came in late and parking was full so we parked at a restaurant next to the hotel. It was ok for a 1 night stay and the breakfast was a nice addition.
