I was under the idea that THIS was the best hotel Kingsville had to offer. However, I believe it is not. We have also stayed at Marriot. Marriot was a bit nicer than the Holiday Inn. Our rooms at Holiday Inn smelled very moldy. We changed rooms because of this. Once we changed rooms, we noticed that the toilet had issues flushing. We were only staying for one night so we stuck it out until morning. Over all, it just wasnt that great of a stay. We liked the roominess at Marriot much better. The lobby at Marriot was more open and inviting. Rooms didnt smell either.

We left a firestick in the TV, and on our way back through, we stopped to see if we could retrieve it. I did not get the sweet lady's name who was working on Friday, May 2nd around noon, but she went to the trouble to go check for us and it was there! She went above and beyond and we were so grateful!

Checked in went smooth, when I returned to the room around 11pm, found the TV didn't work. Contacted front desk and they advised maintenance would address the following day. Next morning, checked in with front desk in person surrounding issue and advised maintenance would address or we would could move rooms. Returned later that evening, TV still didn't work and room hadn't been made up. Inquired at front desk and was told a message had been left and they didn't know why it hadn't been addressed or why room hadn't been cleaned but manager would be notified. Third morning, checked in again with front desk and was told maintenance would address for sure. Returned that evening and found room hadn't been made up again and TV still didn't work. Checked with front desk and was told maintenance didn't show. Asked for different room and was moved for our final evening stay. Front desk staff was pleasant but completely unacceptable experience. Recommend staying elsewhere.

The bathroom specifically the showers need major renovations. Tub did not drain. Handles were loose and almost fell off. My uncles room was the same. No point in asking for a different room. Everything else was nice
