The heart of Salawey is its spacious middle floor, where natural light and marsh views take center stage. The open-concept layout connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen, creating the perfect gathering space for family and friends. Sink into the plush sofas overlooking the marsh, or stream your favorite shows on the large Smart TV. The dining table seats eight, with additional seating for four at the kitchen island, ensuring everyone can dine together.

The chef-inspired kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances and all the essentials for preparing family meals—including a waffle iron for lazy morning breakfasts. Nice home, but missing some essentials

I stay at a lot of vacation rental homes. This was a lovely home. It was very clean and had nice amenities (short walk to beach, luxurious hot tub, nice neighbors, free parking pass for the beach and on the marsh side (quiet and lots of wildlife). The only things that could be improved: Checking in after five--We were not given the code for the key box and had to call a few people while waiting in the hot sun. Luckily the neighbor gave us a number to call since the person on the after hours phone didn't know what to do. The property manager said he would come by the next day to make it up to us and he never did. Dishwasher--It offered a dishwasher and I am used to having at least one detergent pod, but there weren't any. I forgot to bring my own. Luckily, we had enough dish soap to wash things by hand. HVAC--the unit was struggling to keep the house cool and one bedroom upstairs was pretty warm for some reason. I feel guilty because these are all "first world problems." Other than that the place was great and our vacation was wonderful.

The property was just as described. It was beautiful and clean. It was great having a garage and elevator to take everything upstairs. The location was convenient to the beach and retailers.

Most of my frustration is with the property managers

A mistake about the address in the property listing and info from the property managers insisting the the correct address for the property cause me to make a special trip to Tybee to insure we were not being scammed. I searched for the property at 205 5th Ave which they kept insisting was the right address for what is the 209b property. I wasted a whole day getting that straightened out and then the agent referred to it as a "small mistake" a mistake they could have corrected the first time I emailed them before making the trip to inspect. Then, upon leaving they have no way to deal with returning the city parking pass which they threaten to charge me $350 for if I lost it AND it was not in our pickup package so we did without it for 2 days before we realized we didn't have the right pass. My main peeve with the property is not having a remote to shut the garage when u pull your car out and u have to get out and shut the gate then go thru the garage and out the back around to your car. Did not like having no removable shower head on any of the showers. We are all different heights you know. Otherwise the property was very nice.

Fabulous home

This place was wonderful, much bigger then the pictures show. In a good area walking distance to the beach. My husband is a disabled veteran and the elevator was so extremely helpful with groceries and bags. The ping pong table helped keep the kids busy and the kitchen was big enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner in. They even provided a turkey roasting pan knowing we where coming for the holiday. We will definitely be back.

Nice Place

This property is nice. It’s got lots of room for a big family. I was pretty upset about the fact that there were no garage door openers for the property. I called the office and she acted as tho she had no clue about them and said, “I guess they don’t have any.” So every time we wanted to leave, we had to have one person stay behind to close the garage, then run upstairs and come out the front door so it would be locked. Not very convenient. And there is not a hammock as advertised in the pictures. There was a place “for” the hammock. Just no actual hammock. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots/pans if you wanna stay in and cook. Very clean and close to the beach and activities. There is also an outlet to plug up your golf cart if you decide to rent one which is nice. The ping pong table was a favorite with the teens and the hot tub was nice to have. We didn’t use the grill, but there is one available. 2 big couches gave everyone a place to sit and plenty of room at the dining room table.

Great property with elevator

Took two ladies in their 80’s and the elevator was a necessity. The house is very nice and clean. It’s a quiet part of the island, yet walkable to the beach. Only suggestion is to stock the kitchen a bit better.
