Beautiful, historic hotel in the perfect location to explore Venice without being overwhelmed by crowds. The staff were always helpful and courteous and the bartender was fantastic (try his special Negroni with red beer!) we stayed in an attic room with exposed beams and a skylight; you can stay in beautiful suites with original frescos and private canal balconies!

Very classy boutique hotel with an eight minute walk to St Mark's square. Not in a busy area but located on one end of a small open square with outdoor bars, a farmer's market, and fine dining nearby. Very nice common areas within this old palace, and breakfast was included in the price. No gym, but in Venice you will get lots of steps in.
